About our services...

Armed with many years of hands-on experience, the small team of analysts at Bloggs & Doe help companies with systems, projects, and digital plays. We aid the achievement of ROI in technology or business change initiatives. We aim to solve problems in a manner that does not incur further issues. Among our skills are business process and UX design opportunities.

And the pitch:

If you're not happy about the state of play of your business, we're able to come to your organisation, evaluate the situation, and write a report in non-technical terms explaining what we think we've found and what it is impacting. We may confirm what you're thinking or suspecting, or hopefully alleviate your concerns. It may also propose solution profiles - we're not software vendors, nor are we aligned with any.

We can do the same sort of evaluation for business systems, programs, and projects that you're concerned may be going to a different destination than was originally planned.

If you're changing to digital customer or market engagement there is a lot that can impact projects and budgets. Our experience enables us to help you traverse this change and reduce the risk and exposure.

Why would you call us?

We're analysts. You'd engage us if you suspect things are not what they should be, you have a concern about business systems risk, or you're hearing different stories from different people about the same thing. We're low on buzzwords and high on clearly articulated descriptions.

We do levy a charge for such services which is based on a highly complex algorithm the parameters of which are more at home in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Our practical experiences include...

  • We've been around many types of businesses and solving problems since late 1970s
  • Done mission critical, digital transformations, and out-of-date business system upgrades
  • Seen many process and data problems, technology debt, opportunities, and nightmares
  • Experienced and observed unforeseen circumstances and potholes encountered during change
  • Witnessed and addressed the impacts of big, bothersome, and small mistakes
  • Uncovered undesirable fraudulent behaviour
  • Helped great people achieve great outcomes
  • Packaged bad news with tactful statements that re-position it as the opportunity of the century
